We fight for
injured workers.

Our services

Whether you were injured on a specific date or developed symptoms over time, getting injured while working means that you have a Workers’ Compensation case. Under California law you are entitled to medical treatment, wage replacement benefits and compensation for permanent disability. We specialize in making sure that you get the care, benefits and payments you deserve.

David vs. Goliath

It may sound simple, but the parties required to provide these benefits—billion-dollar insurance companies or employers—are profit driven entities focused on minimizing costs. This means they try to limit the care you receive, wage replacement benefits paid, and any permanent disability payments that you may be entitled to. Workers’ Compensation insurance companies have armies of lawyers, doctors, and claims managers focused on closing your case with the minimum amount of treatment and compensation.

We fight for YOU and only you

A Workers’ Compensation lawyer fights for one person and one person only, YOU. We handle the insurance company, we respond to letters and requests for information, we act on all deadlines and move your case forward to its conclusion. We take on all the heavy lifting so you can focus on recovery.

For us, it’s personal

We create a personal relationship with every client so that we can tailor the strategy and representation to each particular case. Unlike many other offices, we do not take a ‘one size fits all’ approach. We believe it is important to get to know our clients and tailor a case strategy that fits each specific situation.

What about fees?

Workers' Compensation lawyers are paid by contingency fee. In a contingent fee arrangement, the lawyer agrees to accept a fixed percentage (15%) of the total settlement.

This means the lawyer is paid only if they win you money.

Our results speak for themselves.

“I sincerely want to thank Peter Gimbel and his staff for helping me with my workers comp case. He really took the time to explain everything that was going on in great detail and answered all my questions. Even when I called or emailed, I always got a prompt answer. His attention to detail is impressive. It was obvious he’s extremely adept and experienced at handling injuries like mine (neck, back, shoulder and hip) and got me the best award possible. Do yourself a favor and call this man asap, just talking with him, you will see what I did.”
